Wow, the term is really flying by!
This week was a busy week. We started puberty ed on Monday and all the students did a really good job learning all about the human body and the changes we go through throughout our lives. We started our multiplication groups, which had all the 5/6 students in different groups and with different teachers. This approach allows us to really target each student's point of need when it comes to learning about multiplication. We looked at benchmarking 1 metre with our bodies and came up with some very useful benchmarks. We continued to learn about all different poetic devices this week and the kids have enjoyed putting some of these into their own poems. On Thursday the 5/6 students did their bit for the environment and planted trees in Harmony Park. Our class planted 100 trees!
Homework this week is under the homework tab.
A big well done for a successful, yet busy week!
